Nancy Rivera is a Mexican-American artist and currently lives and works in Salt Lake City. She earned her MFA in photography from the University of Utah and her BFA in photography from Weber State University. Her work investigates how craft media and technology shape our experiences and understanding of what we classify and perceive as real. She often employs nature as a motif and metaphor to explore the dichotomy between the real and the artificial through photography and three-dimensional works.
